If you do a search though you'll find a lot of threads on the topic more than 1 bassplayer in same song/band or 2 basses, it is the first time however I see 2 bass players and 2 drummers at the same time in one band.

just played in a 4-bass hit in nyc- instrumentation was only one upright, a 6, and 2 4s.
no drums etc.

big listening, lots of room for everybody, all sonic terrain covered. very cool potential here.
