I used a Fulltone Bass-Drive for many years, and it's a drive PLUS boost (boosts drive channel).... and recently acquired a Tech 21 Bass Boost Fuzz, which is a fuzz PLUS boost (independent boost). Who else makes 2 in 1 drive and/or boost pedals?

Hello Henry. Wow... you're a diehard:

Overdrive with separate boost

I still play Bass-Drives. :)

At least one answer now is the same as back then: there are many.

Also, now as then, it's down to what sounds you're after.

The Pike Amplification Vulcan XL is worth a try.

Sorry, I searched -- didn't come up with anything & I sure didn't see my post!!!! (idiot moment)

Pike Vulcan XL -- does it have a separate boost? I only see single footswitch & one channel operation....

I'd just like to compile a list of all the 2-in-1 bass boxes, not necessarily looking for anything different.

Henry, it looks like we're taking turns here: I stand corrected about the Vulcan XL; it has no separate boost function. Sorry.

Surely you'll get some legitimate suggestions here eventually. If I think of one any, I will post again.

I love that idea too... one pedal that will provide just a little bit or dirt and grime - that old school overdriven sound, but then also a thick distortion when wanted.
I found this, and have had this on my board for a little while - the Blackstar LT Dual.
In concept it's great: two channels you can quite easily dial in to your preferred level of dirt - channel 1 for o/d, 2 for full on distortion & plenty of tone shaping capabilities in both modes with the Tone & ISF knobs.
You can really dial in a wide disparity between the levels of dirt on each channel, and can switch between the two channels, turn either one on, or turn the pedal off all with one click of a button. No tap dancing... user friendly.
(I just read about a pedal where you had to have the drive on before going to distortion, this pedal isn't like that.)
BUT... for me, and the reason I'm still looking for a pedal to replace this, I wish this had a blend knob. I've been told it sounds ok FOH, but I feel like it just loses too much of the low end roundness I'd like to maintain. Even when I have just a light drive dialed up, I'd love to hear that dirt sitting above/mixed in with my solid clean tone, and instead I feel it just thins my tone a bit too much.
If they made this pedal dialed in for bass specifically, it could probably be amazing, as I love the variety of tones & ease of use, but alas, the search continues....
Of course YMMV, etc, etc....

You could use something like the Darkglass B7K Ultra. Set the clean side for a clean boost and then the drive side, well, for drive ;)

The Rusty Box has two channels you could set up this same way plus it has a hi/lo switch that can add a lot of umpff if needed.

I guess I'm thinking in preamp land here. This is where my mind tends to go when I hear "boost and drive in one". There are a lot of great preamps out there now that have two channels where you can run one side as your boost and then kick on the drive side for dirt. The MXR M80 comes to mind as does the MXR CAE MC402. The other side of the Darkglass spectrum is the Vintage Ultra. The AMT BC1......there is a lot to chew on these days.
