You're looking for answers, and many members are giving you great advice and insight, but without pictures your description and what you're claiming this bass to actually me model-wise are conflating. and if all those alerts are too much for you to handle, why not just change/disable the alerts. Sounds like you're getting a little snippy when many here are trying to help you.

Trust me... I'm extremely appreciative.
But... I'm at work. Can't really converse.
I'm replying, to NOT be a jerk, and ignore, those who are taking their time, and knowledge, to attempt to help.

It looks, feels, and sounds, like a much more expensive instrument. The money, is really no issue. I honestly, don't NEED another bass. I hate to see stores rip guys off, or, pawn shop losses. Not to mention, what seemed like a nice guy, losing his bass. Yeah... I'd like to help him out, in hopes that he'd soon get his bass back. But, if he doesn't... I just wanna be sure that I paid a fair price, for a bass that I don't need. Anyhow... I'll attempt to post pics, before I decide what to do, if I can get him to bring it by, and hold off for another day, on his Guitar Center decision...

There may be a couple of others but those are all $1700 and up Basses.

Could be why he was offered 520. Maybe he lied. Maybe I'm overreacting, about something that I have no clue about.
My main concern, was that it didn't feel like my MIM Jazz basses. Maybe, it isn't supposed to. Maaaaayyyyybeeeee... I'm gonna miss out on a killer deal.

I don't know. This Is why I created this thread.

If the bass was sold online (or not, for that matter), and pics were available, it's easy enough to capture/save/have them emailed...

... if you're going to bring it, bring all of it, next time...

... these guys are good, and you probably would have had a yea, or nay, within the first page...

... with pics, of course.
