He sure did. Nice win over the streaking Ducks, which included killing off a lengthy five on three. I think it was about a minute and half total.

I didn't see the game, just looked at the box score. In other Leaf news, Clarkson has served his suspension and should be back on the ice Friday.

Flyers with a week off up against the Lundqvist-less Rangers tonight. And I'm bringing a piano home and won't be watchign the game. Guaranteed win!
Also of note, had a new guy start here at work while I was away on vacation. Came in from New Jersey. asked where in New Jersey, he said right across the bridge from Philadelphia! There's two Flyers fans in the department now!!!

Oddly enough Scott has no history with the nhl enforcement folks. I still think it has to be worth 10+ games.
This one gets a good Mike Milbury Rant; although I'm inclined to agree with him on John Scott,...and I also agree that it's shoddy coaching at best; I'm not so sure it's worth Ron Rolston's job.

The NHL has it in for Buffalo. Scott suspended indefinitely, Kaleta's 10 game appeal was denied.

Bruins come home for a back-to-back against a rested SJ Sharks team and get out-skated, out-played, and badly out-shot, and win 2-1, getting the game-winner w/ 0:00.8 left from Krejci. Tuukka stood on his head tonight.
Thank Mason for that one. He played a great game. Good to see him get rewarded for once (or twice, I guess). Talbot (the Rangers goalie) also played very well in his NHL debut.
The Flyers MAX Talbot is lucky. He took a nasty header into the boards face first. Had a tough time getting off the ice, but came back and played later with his nose bandaged up. The hit by the Ranger that sent him into the boards wasn't a vicious one. Just enough to throw him off balance.
Matt Read and Braydon Coburn scored for the Flyers. I thought defense partners Coburn and Grossman played a solid game. I'm not understanding why so many Flyers fans are so down on Coburn. He's one of the best skating defensemen they have, and has done a real good job for them since coming over from Atlanta. A couple of posts for the Flyers, but they're still having a godawful time putting it into the net...
Buffalo reminds me a bit of last years' last place Red Sox team. That Sox team did not play well, they were poorly coached and many of the players were jerks. They were hard to watch even when they won a game.
The Sox waited until halfway through the year to clear out the bad attitudes among the players (thank you LA!) and they fired the manager the day after the season ended. The home fans are booing (maybe the TV ratings are going down, too?) - that is going to get Rolston fired, not anything that Millbury says. Maybe Rolston is trying to execute the plan that ownership and the GM put in place; in that case, he may end up being the fall guy as the plan doesn't seem to be working.
