Welp, this amp couldn't have come at a more opportune time. Over the past few months, I've been creeping up my volume levels, and when I got the Heritage SVT rig, I really have been giving it the juice. Of course, I still play at a fraction of what most of you all play at ;) but I haven't been too quiet lately and I think the band is better for it.

Tonight I figure I'd bust out the ol' B-15, and whereas I used to have a decent amount of headroom when I got my volume set, now it seems like I'm riding the line and running out of gas for clean tones. Sounds awesome but it's getting a little dirty when I don't want it to be. I knew there was going to be some hell to pay for bumping up my volume, but not being able to use the B-15 live wasn't in the plans! So looks like I actually need the V4B and it's not not just a vanity purchase.

At least that's what I'm telling Mrs. M.

Yep, I have been there so many times......I am really fooling myself by saying that I will wait to see what people say about reliability before getting one of these :o. Since you are closer to those in the know than I will ever be, if you get the chance (and I know you probably won't) could you find out when they are likely to be shipping these to other countries? Since they are presumably manufacturing in Korea I would hope that we might see them downunder around the same time as you get them.
Looks like I will be back to three tube amps again :hmm:

Thats right dude! Thats your story and you're sticking to it!! :D

Hey guys and gals, quick question, do the now discontinued V4BH's give the same "type" tone as the older V4's? Is it reasonable to expect an SVT-esque driven tone at fairly sane volume levels?

I have owned a '76 V4B and then changed to a vintage SVT. I can dial the same sound on both, of course SVT being always too loud ;) If you really need deep comparision, I think that V4B was a little fatter in the low mids. But A LITTLE... and maybe it was that because it distorted earlier. I dunno.. I think I dont need that extra power from SVT. I miss V4B.

Someone want to part the V4B for SVT? In Europe?:)

Just had a real DOH! moment! Got an email from the dude at LOUD processing my V4B order. Says he can't run my credit card because the number's wrong. Now my shipment is going to be delayed a day because I couldn't be bothered to proofread my order form. A whole day. Dammit!

STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!

Got no clue about the amps in that pic, not getting a new cab because I'm going to try it with one or two 210av's first, and no covers yet but Stu tells me they're coming.
