2013 AmStd JB slightly weak bridge PU

NBD (last week), and though I like the tone of the passive PUs on the 2013 AmStd JB, the bridge PU is slightly lower in volume. Normal, thing, right

Coming from active Lull MV5 which i usually had applied a slight high-mid boost on the bridge PU to balance the volume from the slightly louder neck PU. That and I usually like the neck PU in passive, which is much closer in volume to the bridge in active mode.

Guess I could roll off the volume on the neck PU but I have always play with the pot wide open especially on passive.

Thinking I may just want to go full active on this JB, as I also like to roll on/off the bass to suit the room or moment.

Point to another good thread if you have one, sure I'm not the first!

Thoughts?
