I was really hoping to get a cello, but the cost of one plus lessons isn't in the cards and I really don't have the spare time to put towards learning it anyway (it seems to be a very demanding instrument).

I may just search the local classifieds for a super cheap fretless and spring for an ebow + reverb pedal or something.
