It's a long trip for me as well (7-8 hours), but I might be up for a road trip if the timing is right....

any general sense for when it might be?
Done!
Cool, thanks. One last question... their website doesn't provide this, so can you give me Serek's location so I can understand the travel? We've had weather issues in April three years running (including an ice storm last year!), so I think we're leaning toward May. In the past they've been Sunday afternoons. Of course we don't want to do the 10th which is Mothers' Day.
Will depend on the host's (Serek Basses) schedule, then available dates will be put up to a vote here on this thread so the most people can make it.

Cool, thanks... found the 2019 thread, looks like it's "2950 West Carroll Avenue, Chicago, IL". About a 3hr drive for me if I can make it. Also noticed the "Upper Bout" was there? Is that the one in Champaign, IL?Serek is in Chicago near the corner of Sacramento and Carroll.
lol!!UpperBout is my TalkBass handle. I am not affiliated with the seller in Champaign, IL. I didn't even know there was one until just now.
And I thought my handle was obscure enough that no-one else would ever come up with a similar name. What's that line about 10,000 monkeys, 10,000 typewriters, and the works of Shakespeare...
