2022 Bass Acquisition Round Up

How is it possible that you guys are buying more basses each year than I've collected for 15 years? 
This year I bought one. I'm pleased with it's focused tone. With the Thumb I'm now sure that I prefer single coils, so I plan to use only the Thumb and a Jazz Bass exclusively for some time to see if I will miss my other basses.

My Eastwood MRG was ordered in September 2022 and was due to arrive in December 2022, but has been pushed back to January 2023, so that is not in the list.
Oooooo, thar EBMM Sterling looked great. Didn't bond with it or needed funds to buy the LaklandWell, I got an amp:

It was absolutely amazing but I really didn't bond with it. The neck was great, the overall quality was brilliant but I just don't use that typical MM-sound in a live situation.

The only bass I bought this year is an 89 unlined MIJ Fender Jazz Bass

Not a one, but 2 sets of Alumitones for a couple of existing basses. Caveat, I did post yesterday about another 6 I was interested in, but that was a sort of taking the p*** comment as I knew TB would tell me to buy it. It's still there, but I'm feeling the pull of it less today.
I want to see what Ibanez do with the EHB line for 23, so I might order one if there is one I like. Otherwise, not much GAS at all except for a few parts to mod with and fix the faults of some of the basses (and 1 guitar) I have.
There will be a new large bass rig and guitar tube amp combo coming as I have all the parts, and they are designed, I just need the time and space to build them. There's no more need for FX and I think I might build a batch of cables.

This was a birthday present to myself this year. It's a 2018 ESP/LTD D-5 I bought as a new-old-stock. The bass looks, feels, and sounds far more plush than what I paid for it. I feel like I got a Cadillac at a Chevy price.
It sits quite nicely with my family (all ESP/LTDs. Yeah, I'm an LTD enthusiast in TalkBass' ESP club).
