A couple came and went. Ended up with one of the cheapest FMIC offerings available and couldn't happier (although I'm looking forward to a few mods)

My Eastwood MRG was ordered in September 2022 and was due to arrive in December 2022, but has been pushed back to January 2023, so that is not in the list.

Nice collection. Sadly, I’ve not bought a bass since 2015. But for what it’s worth, I swap gear as often as changing my jockey shorts…LOL!!

2006 Stingray - the shining star of 2022. Sublime in all ways possible, 8.6 lbs, amazing:

This was also formed in 2022. Neck from 2011 American Special and Loaded body from 2010 American Special. Very light, just above 9 lbs:

Basses I got. What I was moved to grab the wallet for were usually made in Italy and go BANG.

No basses this year , but I did pick up a baritone. Bought two more amps ,and had two repairs. Bought three pedals , two leather gig bags , and three Hipshot 3 point bridges.

Reverend Anniversary edition, just because I wanted a PBass and something blue.

Schecter Same Bettley to leave at my office at work.

It was a good year for acquiring and upgrading. But I really like the basses & guitars I own now. My guess is 2023 will be more about playing and less about buying/selling.

Picked up a Spector Euro 6lt about 3 months ago. Haven't had a lot of time on it yet, but it sounds magnificent, and is probably the smoothest feeling 6 I've ever encountered.

I think I got this one this year, or maybe late last year.
A Yamaha Attitude for $200 on local Craigslist so I couldn't help but go get it.
Changed out the stock pickups to EMG GZR's and changed the pickguard and controls.
I prefer the volume/volume/ tone controls to the stock volume/tone with a selector switch.
Love the necks on the Attitude basses and as usual Yamaha makes basses that are built way better than what they charge for them.

Love the old Peaveys, and that ash body was too nice to pass up.

Not a new one, not an essential player, just a 1980 Peavey T-40 that needed a good home. NOT in a dark damp closet, but out on a guitar stand in my studio/office.
And I bought myself a new bass wireless system AND a new wireless IEM system.

Love my old T-40. You can use for a sledgehammer to demo a house and play a gig with it that night. These keep going up in value.
