I almost created this thread a couple days ago… never got round to it. Thanks @sleddogn ! I’ve been wanting to talk hoops with somebody.
My Raps started the season on a good note. Blew out the Hawks in Atlanta. Despite not making many 3’s, Toronto’s offense looked nice. Lots of ball movement.
The Pacers pushed the Thunder to 2OT last night. Not too shabby! I still miss Pascal Siakam and will always be cheering for him.
Wemby is scary.

Thunder! First team to go into double OT in the first two games of a season. If they keep this up I'm gonna send them my cardiologist bills.

Nuggets fan here. A-A-Ron had a monster game last night. Man, that was a work of art. Love that guy.
After winning the season opener in Atlanta, my Raps have gone 0-3 against Milwaukee, Dallas, and San Antonio. The have a tough schedule coming up: Rockets, @Cavs, Grizzlies, Bucks, at Hawks, @76ers, @Nets, @Cavs, @Pacers. The game in Brooklyn should be very winnable for the Raps, but most (all?) of these other teams probably feel confident that they can beat Toronto. In a couple weeks' time their 1-4 record might look a lot uglier

The Thunder are 5-0. But can't seem to hit a 3 for anything. They're going to have to figure that out.
I think that will even out in time. They have some capable shooters. They can beat teams lots of different ways though so 3’s aren’t everything. And SGA isn’t exactly a high volume 3 point shooter. He does his work in the mid-range and at the free throw line. Very effectively too!

Raps have strung together some wins, two against shorthanded teams (games we should be winning) and one against the Bucks last night.

I wasn’t paying super close attention the last few days. Nice to see the Raps put up some W’s! I was expecting them to be like 1-7 or 2-6 right now, not 4-4 
It's a bummer about the Pacers. With Haliburton out, it was going to be a tough season for them, but I didn't think they'd start the season this poorly. Losing to the Nets is quite the accomplishment
The Raps won another game last night. 5-4 all of a sudden. I didn't see that coming after some very ugly losses a couple weeks ago. 2-0 in NBA Cup games.
