I sorta agree with Calaverasgrande - but not fully.
If the intangibles were just mixed or odd-named brands, then that's good logic. I think the area in question was the differences in the 15 verses a small bank of 10s.
Trying to level the playing field, I feel most people were honest in their appraisal of a single 15 vs 2 or 4 10s. Let's assume that this is all top notch gear, and then the field is indeed more level and it just becomes one of personal concept and not so much mashed-up brand names.
Either can kick some serious butt if they have amp for it. But I like the times I use a 210 and a 115 - it just seems more 'full' to me. See? Opinions - that's all.
I'm all for old-school - played it a lot in the years 'way passed, but it has it place NOW too and I think thunder mixed with rumble is always appropriate and debatable.
