25" scale micro basses anyone?

Avazzano, the string spacing is about 16mm and about 12-13mm at the pickup. I think too narrow for a P pickup, unless it is maybe a bar pole piece. The bridge is a grooved triangular shaped straight bar, but does have thumbwheels to adjust the height. It intonates surprisingly well, so I'm not looking for a replacement at this time. The narrow string spacing makes finding upgraded pickup and bridge a little tough.

Actually, I kind of like keeping it as original as I can. It's kind of a reverse-snobbery thing with me-- taking a cheap piece of junk and making it work.

Well, it makes ABSOLUTE sense! Good luck with the fine tining, then! :)

The problem for me is that when you posted pics of your bass, I said to myself, "if only it had some nice body rounding, I would be tempted to buy one." Now I find that a rounded over body is available, for only a little money, and I'm forced to confront a dilemma.
:roflmao:
Ah, ah, ah: now you just got the bug! Better let go that credit card: fear not! No injuries, only a minimal money escape for such a huge satisfaction, trust me... ;)

@RodRy: where did you find a Glen Burton mini bass? Could not locate one on the whole web...

I was being facetious. I Love mini basses. I - designed some mini basses.
I was just joking because it is probably better so that I don't spend money I don't have. :)

If you want to see a very long documented love of mini basses, search here for Picco Bass and Sub-short.
I'm a founding father. ;)
So you got the mini bass bug 12 years ago already, uh? I wonder how comes I did not know about the 25" scale bass before! And why it still is the best kept bass secret... I already see myself looking for a Greg Bennett Corsair...

EVERY serious bass player should have one mini bass on hand. Obviously you'll gig with your best, favourite 34" or 35" precious axe, but a 25" minibass is a MUST HAVE, at home! Too fun to play. Surprisingly good...

I know someone who has a GB Corsair, and is less than in love with the instrument. Seems it has a rather chunky neck for such a small instrument.
