250k Blend pot as a tone pot

Hey gang!
I want to use a detented blend pot as a tone control but don't want to use a TBX-style configuration. Is there a way I can wire the blend pot to act as a tone control throughout it's entire sweep? Basically I want a control where the detent is 5. Only real reason for this is that detented blend pots are WAY easier to come by than standard detented pots. I don't mind complicated wiring setups either. This will be going in a J, for those interested.

If it's an A/C blend, it will work fine. If it's M/N, it will sweep through in half a rotation and stay at either "0" or "10" for the rest of the rotation, depending on how you wire it.
