I was mistaken, and in googling a number plus my own haste and excitement I end up having to answer the entire community for my embarrassment. To my surprise and delight, I found this receipt this morning.

31,536,000 seconds
You have to do 60 X 60 to get one hour (3600 seconds) Then, you have to get 3600 seconds and multiply it by 24 since there are 24 hours in a day (84600 seconds) Then since there are 365 days in a year you have to do 84600 X 365 and you will get 31,536,000 seconds.

I indeed meant hours... To my surprise and delight, I found this receipt this morning... Hastily I though why not share this news with all my fellow bassists at talkbass only to... well you get the drift. I can take the razzing...Here ya go... this should settle it. But keep in mind everybody will come to a different answer depending on when this post is read.

I wish I had a better excuse other than excitement of finding that receipt this morning, leaving me to make a sizeable counting error in the land of counting nerds. Why hast thou forsaken me google... Why?
Not as well as the bass in my living room I suspect. I can't even blame google, I just went too fast in my excitement. I found that receipt this morning.

I for one am grateful for your post..gave us all something to make humor over. I wish I found my first receipt.
Haste. If one took as much care in the end, as one did in the beginning, there would be no errors. Found an original receipt, googled a number... didn't watch to see which one I took... Ahh well. Funny how getting it wrong is probably going to get a more active response than if I had gotten it right.
Well, if it turns out you are speaking to us from the past, please come find four year old me in preschool in Queens and give me winning lotto numbers. I’ll understand.
