2x12 cab for ROCK!

for loud rock, i've been using my accugroove whappo jr ALOT lately (instead of my ampeg 8x10, 4x12, or Sunn 2x15 JBL K140 cabs). to me, it is easily their equal and beyond.

If I were in a straight up rock band and not detuning I would get a BFM Jack 212 if I were sticking to the 212 form. I'd guarantee you would bury any 2x12 on the market in sheer volume, as long as you're not concerned with tons of low end. Down side is it's bigger than most 2x12s. Upside, you can get out around 70lbs and get as loud as an 8x10.

I'm gonna vote for Avatar B212.

I play mine with a LMIII and have NO problems being heard over a REALLY loud drummer and a REALLY loud half stack.

My non-neo Avatar 212 sounds best when paired with a 4 or 210 cab. I find the 212 a little lacking in the loudest situations, plus it's not as punchy as a cab with 10 provides. I usually only use it if I'm stacking another cab with it.
