I still have some 15's, but mostly use 12's these days (for the past 5 or so years). For the right gig I will drag out the 15 cabs ... usually to use with my Fender Studio Bass amp.
This one is an LDS built 2x15 loaded with Faital 15PR400's and no tweet (with the grill cover off to show the drivers). It's good up to about 4khz and sounds huge driven by the Fender Studio Bass.
Here's the LDS with its grill cover and Fender badge to match the Studio Bass.
This one is a '70's Fender Fullerton 1x15 loaded with an EVM EV15. Of the 15's I have, this is the one I prefer. Clear, Punchy, Full. EV sure knew how to make 'em.

My profile pic has two 2x15s. Here's my current multiple 15 setup if I need that much. Each cab has its own amp channel. Sunn 200S on top with an early Bag End II on the bottom. All K140s. Sounds great.

I have almost the same rig and it's the best ever. I'm a long time 15s user and the Subway 115s are the best ever made.
Well...I toured with a 215 rig from 1971 through 1973 and then gigged with it until 1976 when it was stolen along with my 1965 Jazz Bass.
It was a Standel MCIIb/SAM30b piggy-back amp. The MCIIb was the super-light head which only held the preamp. The SAM30b was the very heavy and deep 215 powered-speaker bass reflex cab with 4 round ports stacked vertically just to the left of the speakers. Those ports really put out a LOT of air (would flap my bell bottoms). It held two CTS 15" speakers with HUGE magnets and had two 100-watt amps inside. Each amp drove its own speaker. Those 15" CTS speakers were perfectly matched to their amps. So was a 200-watt set-up and was ungodly loud.
Don't really have a good picture of the amp but you can sort of see it here. This is sometime in 1972. If I still had it and my '65 Jazz, I would probably still be using both. Notice the goose-neck on the mic. That made it easy to position the mic without using a boom...hmmm...maybe I should get another one of those... All the gear in this picture was stolen that night in 1976, which put a quick end to my gigs for the next 20-years. I was married with two kids by then and money was scarce.

I like them both... I regretted selling the 115 cabs and went with the 215. Not much difference in the sound with either setup.
The thing about having two Subway 115s is you can use one when you want, or two when you want.
I love it either way, but obviously it sounds different. A single will carry a room even when playing with a loud band. Two 115s is what to use when playing with two guitars through Marshalls.
All the above is driven by a Subway D800+.
LOL...all that white you see was all double knit including the shoes, which had a gold buckle to go with the gold chains on the vests. Lots of double-knit stuff in the early 70's! One of the shirts I had was a red-lace shirt. It looked particularly good with that vest.

An adjunct to my earlier post; in my teens until middle age, my 2-15 cab was a doable heft; now in my late 60’s I imagine neodymium 15s would make more sense .
Hindsight @ 20-20, I’d prefer either Sunn 2-15 horn cabs or 2-15 JBL scoops. 2-15 JBL scoops are a 2- person heft imho; having hauled one for a band in 70s.
In mid 70s, I briefly owned 2 Sunn 2-15 Magnas which sounded no better than my older Kustom but when I bought a used Sunn 1-18 VH, I heard and crafted the tones which I was hearing in my mind , powered by ACC 371; again magnificent and perhaps quite a heft for middle aged plus.

My 200S is pretty manageable. It's on wheels and I can tilt it over and lever it into my Pilot all by myself. I can lift it up by myself if needed. Just turned 60. (How did that happen?!).
FWIW, the OP mentioned two 115s, not a 215.
But in any case the two 115s in my earlier post are a big PITA to move and a single 112 was my default gigging choice for quite a few years before I retired.
I apologize about the 115-215 thing. I guess my contacts really do need cleaned....
