2x15

I have 2 Carvin 15s and a Carvin bx700 head. Its my holy grail of amps for portability, weight, price, volume and sound.

Sadly, ya can't buy any of that stuff any more.

I however use a GK Neo 212 these days for all my gigs, as I'm fortunate to have roadies - and that cab stays with them. My 15s stay at home and get used for gigs outside of my main band.

I use 2 BFM Jack 15 cabs with the Kappalite 3015s in them. They scream!

I use two Schroeder PL115 cabs, but most of the time I only need one, with PA support. I use two on outdoor gigs when I don't have that support. The cabs have a nice, punch through tone, with a warm sounding bottom. Since I use a Genz Benz Shuttlemax 12.2, it allows me to use a 4 ohm load in each cab. More volume than I will ever need, but I typically don't play in very loud bands. I have used 115 or 215 cabs for 40 years, and have tried other configs, but 15's seem to give me what I want in a bass rig, along with enough volume to cover the gigs I typically get.

Does anyone still use 2x115 cabinets if so let’s see your set up. Im thinking about getting another Hartke HX115 and using two of them with a hx210 cabinet. Any thoughts

I can run my DIY BMS 15N630 loaded ones in several different configs, such as:

I have one or two more top boxes too, but the horn loaded 6/1 box in the first pic with just one 115 cab is my daily driver practice rig and by far my favorite. The 15s are rated for 600 watts RMS each and with a 1000+ watt amp driving the pair they never felt overpowered the few times I did that.

Been using an Amp PF800 into two of their 115HF portaflex flip top cabs for years now. I THINK that I like them, but I don't have a lot of experience on any other rigs. Been wondering if my playing, which has gotten more fancy/sophisticated over the years, might sound better through some smaller speakers, and I've had a nagging worry that I need to try out some 10's or 12's
