3 ways America should be more like Canada

I just want the canadian dollar to be worth more than american again. Great for online shopping. IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?
yes it is.....it has to do with making the things we export competitive in the world....
That article is a dumb oversimplification.

Much of Canada's post-crash prosperity has come from drilling/tar sanding and timber-cutting the hell out of its west and selling the oil and timber to China. Is that sustainable?
um,ah,no.....

The article, brief as it is, provides no helpful data nor suggestions on ways to improve the situation.

And the situation has evolved for reasons specific to the US, economically and politically.

Next issue.
I cropped the article. The entire thing lists a few recommendations from shifting control of the banking system from state to federal and decreasing political contributions.
Cablinasian?
Cannibalism.

But Canada didn't have the same intensity crash as many other countries.

Also our current government sucks. The true lefties will never get in (NDP) but i'll still take little rich douche Trudeau's Liberals over Harper's Cons.

And there's never been any doubt the US should be more like canada. Or pretty much like most other modern western countries.

Though not everybody likes canadians. For one we are pretty sanctimonious and it's only gonna get worse with us being number one in middle class wealth and all. I just hate this stereotype that you know, canadians are nice and polite. Live here a bit, see if that's true... For one, some mistake passive aggressive for nice and polite.
Not so great for Cdn funds (eg. ETFs) with a percentage of US stocks in its portfolio. The fund value's worth more as the US $ goes up.

We like to think of ourselves as the "nicest people on the planet"...

In reality we're pretty bitchy in day-to day affairs.....

We secretly hold Americans in awe.....and can't wait to make trips the States.

All Canadians like to tell you about their recent "trip to the States"

We buy all kinds of things from the States

And we like the American version of cars better than the Canadian models.

If we had to rely on Canadian television shows for entertainment...I wouldn't even own a t.v.

99% of our music talent moves to the US eventually...so do our actors.

We're not bad once you get to know us.....but uber-nice gets annoying after awhile.....

I get it, I get it. You can have Justin Beiber back.
