This might be good advice for people in the US also. In fact any place where "things" are "good" this would be good advice.

Canadians have proved themselves in times of war
Lots of good stuff has been invented in Canada
We have had some awesome literary writers and artists
It's a good place to live basically (depending on what location you are at)
I feel a lot of times we are overtaxed on things......
We had it good for awhile when the dollar was at par with the US.....but even then we still payed more for many of the same items in Canada.....
I thought NAFTA was supposed to level the playing field.........but a lot of times it hasn't.
In reality we are not nicer than Americans......people are the same more or less wherever you go on the North American continent.
What goes around comes around.

Americans, in general, make better basses than Canadians. That's all that really matters where this forum is concerned.

Hence the "in general". Godin does make some very nice guitars/basses.

F basses too. But I was mostly trying to lighten the mood of the thread than state any hard facts.
