3 Wood Build Challenge!

I need an answer for this. I am using popular, ash and pau ferro for my build and I have some popular veneer that is died black that I was going to use, does that count as four woods? If it does, I'll just not use the veneer.

in my own humbel opinion, I would say it is three woods because you could in theory sand down a slice of the same poplar from the body , and dye it black to become a veneer. What say others?

Wenge Ash and Acrylic Impregnated Flame Sycamore.

Nothing unusual shape wise I am afraid I don't have time to design and build a prototype shape so something fairly quick is on the cards due to other priority builds.

HaMMerHeD, is it okay for me to use knobs that I bought that are listed as ebony (with ebony not being one of my three wood choices) or should I use different knobs for this? There's some speculation from other people on here as to whether or not they're really ebony.

Alan, sorry I mised this. Bring on both builds! The one you started 3rd week in may is fine too.

The primary purpose of this competition is to see more build logs and encourage participation, not to nitpick every detail about the rules.
