$300 geddy lee???? I THINK YESSSS!!!!

on the weight question...feels just as light as my spector legend or my sx jazz... to me its not heavy and im not a big guy by any standards. its super comfy, like i said i just have to do the finishing setup over the next couple days and hopefully it will be suitable to me. i did do a no no because theres no decent music shop in town and swapped strings from another bass until i can grab a new set for it and the donor

bass i think is completely setup today...and wow i didnt think it could get better but DAAAAMMNNNNNNNN.... this is definitely a keeper forever. the neck is just unreal i cant believe i've waited this long! now the next issue is i gotta find a set of allen wrenches with a small enough wrench to fit in this badass bridge....why did they have to make the screws so damn small on the saddles on such a big bridge

Good story, great score, but you might want to delete the reference to the knife as that particular kind is illegal in NY. Carry on!

And the gun I would have been carrying is not? :hiding:

As to the bass, awesome deal! I don't like the geddy neck profile, but love the bass, especially at that price. Schnikies, it would make a nice add to my collection, or a guy could have turned the neck and add one he likes, or sold the whole thing for a mofo profit!

As to the truss rod, since the bass was so great a deal, it had to be real simple to let a tech do a setup on it and if the truss rod needed something you would have known before any possible damage could have been done to it. BTW, for my money, the heel adjusted fender necks are a BOPITA to adjust anyway.

Nice score!

Yea it definitely is a bigger pain and I'm no tech by anyones standards but I set this up better than any bass setup I've ever done... I guess the truss isn't broke, just really hard to turn probably because it never had a setup before...when I got done thinking about it I realized it couldntve had one because there was still plastic under the screws of the pickguard... I'm going guardless for now, mic todd style
