3D Model file for J style Bass

A friend came across some old stock Redwood and he wants to create a J style bass body with the bridge pickup in the 60's position.

Anyone have an idea where to find model files (STL, etc.)?

Google for "jazz bass plans", prices range from $100 to free.

At one time fender posted drawings of most of their models.

If you have access to Autocad, those PDF files can be brought in and converted to CAD with the PDFIMPORT command. They come in at no scale, so you have to use known elements to scale up. I dont know if its all closed polylines that are easily translatable to 3D though, still some work there.

I know, i know, actually you can check the scale based on the grid which 1 inch step.
