3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I hope it means we will see an updated Enabler...

Same as the old one, with the new enclosure, and a second foot switch that enables either the Gain or a separate clean boost circuit (does not have to be as elaborate as the LBB, just a super clean boost). I know I am a broken record about the second foot switch, but it would save board space all over the world :) Anybody that has a tube amp or tube Pre would love this pedal even more.

Between my VMT Deluxe and the LBB, my EQ and gain needs are solved. My Rolls PM50 solves the headphone/aux issue, though I did like the deep and mid switches on the Enabler!

I'm particularly looking forward to the overdrive pedal. I like my B3K but every one I've had has had the same issue: a high frequency hiss that won't go away (it was present on the Finnish and US models). Spencer's designs are whisper quiet, so I'm hoping it's less saw your head off and more of a growl (think Tim Commerford during Audioslave). If so, bye bye B3K!

All this love for the WL has me rethinking my choice of a Dunlop Cry Baby, but board space is tight. (I prefer my wireless unit on my board and not in a rack, and I'm not sold on the Line 5 G30 or G50, especially when it comes to frequency space)

No updated Enabler coming. It was just too expensive and time-consuming to build at the quantities I was doing. I may do a preamp/DI sans headphone amp in the future, but if you want the features of an Enabler I'd talk to one of my dealers that still has them.

It's ok, I have an Enabler on my board already and it's staying :)

I'm so excited to try out the Octabvre after hearing that video. Not to mention the Way Huge Pork Loin. How cool was that synth sound!!!!
That video was a great confirmation that I'm doing something right. I've been using an Octamizer with a Pork Loin and a envelope filter that will remain nameless for about a year and it works excellent (I know, I know.... my board needs a Proton or a WL:(). The Curve control on the PL is a cool way to control the synth tone.

Super excited about the Octabvre, sounds fantastic! Nice work Spencer, I can't wait to check one out.
