I don’t think you’ll mind the flexibility. I thought with tweaking it sounded just like the mini. Just more knobs to adjust etc

I almost got the bigger one too, but i love my oc2. To be able to switch between a pure sub on the fly to a more blended tone will be great with the big pedal or 2 combined. Plus i like what the tone knob does a lot on the 3 leaf. Gives me a few options there.
Played the doom more today and i find that from 0-halfway on the gain is a major difference. Half to full not as much but it takes you to that muse territory of crazy big fuzz.
I think i just have an unnatural love for analogue gear.

It's less than 2 years old. They started out with just TB Swag, and it seems they've moved on to more substantive products.
So I got the Octabvre Mini in and I got the Proton. Pretty sweet pedal day. I ended up putting the Proton after the Doom, because I love the downsweep after it. Super synth sound. Really takes it to another level. I do like this Proton filter since it can sweep up or down. I set it up so I really dont do much but flip that switch, and don't touch much past that.
The Mini Octabvre - damn. So I A/B'd it to my OC2 and it's very close. But, it puts out a lot more volume. So, I decided to use the Mini as my pure sub sound. It's just crazy good at that and I can use the OC2 for the more blended tone. I really like switching the tone knob to sometimes to the right. If you are running a synth chain, it does some nice subtle changes so you could use that tone on one tune, then flip the tone knob to the left or middle and the fuzz will react a little differently.
If I didn't use a blended oct2 tone as well, I would use the mini as my only octave pedal. It is that good.

My Octabvre MKII showed up yesterday. I’m very, very impressed with it so far.
Do any of you all have really nice little and high quality patch cables that would connect 3leaf pedals together? Mine sit so close together that even my 3 inch cables seem like overkill. Love the top load design.
I make my own using Mogami Gold cable and switchcraft pancake connectors. It does require soldering though
I love Covenant Cable patches you can custom order inexpensively. Also, Sinasoid has excellent custom patch cables.

Holy hell, where has this pedal been my whole life?? It kills! And the separate sub switch was actually very useful, for my wants/needs. One of my best pedal purchases to date.

OT-For those of you that use more than one bass on a gig, how do you go about matching gain/output between two basses?

Ha, just going through that now. There are clean boost pedals you can engage if needed, but I try and get my basses set within 1 db of each other. I have a new Jazz bass that is 3db off and the difference is too much. I learned that the stock pickups on this model are just low output, so I am replacing them with the pure vintage series that I prefer anyway.
To answer your question better - clean boost pedal or use pickups that have similar output. And make sure to mess with the height, as just a little up or down can make a nice difference.

This is perfect option not only for leveling out 2 basses but also great for boost, OD or even a mute. Here's a demo on guitar but I can tell you the 5th Gear boost thats part of this pedal sounds great on bass.
