3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I've never really been a fuzz guy myself - I designed this to be a bit different than what most people think of as a fuzz.

Well, after just checking out that video, I think I'm a believer. This may just be a fuzz I need to get my hands on. Call me crazy, but it sounds almost synthy on its own at the beginning of the video, but when you started adding other pedals in (particularly the Wonderlove and OC2), I immediately thought to myself.... "those are sounds I must have." Count me in.

5sg.

Bit of Spencer built stuff on this board... Chain is Tuner, Compressor, Octave, Phat Phuk Booster, Vintage Microtubes, Tall Font Russian, Wonderlove, Timeline, Enabler. The gap between the Enabler and Wonderlove is intentional - enough room to run a DI out from Enabler, and a Mission EP1 into the Wonderlove. I've got a Darkglass B7K not shown on the board too - it's gonna be a studio tool i think!

I've got a wonderlove coming again. Awesome but I do have a question about the effects loop. Say I have an octaver and fuzz in the loop and I want to bypass the filter. If I just put the dry wet knob to all the way dry will that work as a bypass to the filter? Or will that take out the other effects too? Hope I'm being clear.

Nevermind just read the manual! Answered my question nicely!! :)

Someone was asking for sound clips of the Proton with a Stingray.

This isn't ideal but I was bored this morning and thought I'd do a little recording to pass the time. I used the DI out on the B7K for the first time to record something and it's hot at holy hell. Had to compress and turn down my signal before it hit the B7K or it would clip my mixer.

Anyway, everything is recorded with a Stingray. The Proton is used on what would be the rhythm guitar part and the lead guitar part (high and low range respectively).

Just added a touch of reverb and that was it. Not great but it's something.
