3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

The whole thing is lame. I’m still convinced this bundle makes it MORE about flippers buying them- Reverb resellers who have the extra cash to sit on a preamp for a while just so they can sell the pedal for a 50-100% markup. We’ll see.
It appears to be beyond that to me. Even with auto fill, it was impossible to purchase these. I think it was institutional buying. Regardless, the allure escapes me. I’m done with this clown.

If that was actually from him that's 3 strikes. I do not own one of his pedals and now I'll never try to.
It won't hurt his sales. I never even heard of this company until 8 to 10 months ago.
From Chineseium, to the pimp daddy bundle move, and now a completely Childish insult to his customer base.
He doesn't deserve my money besides I only wanted the Doom2 anyway. The great thing about buying pedals in today's marketplace there is tons of quality options in all price points for consumers to purchase.
Good Luck guys getting the pedals you want. I don't support Tools like this guy. Peace out!!!
Why would it not be from him when it's posted on his site and signed by him?

If you were all about slowing down orders, you would do a lottery or similar. Donate $5.00 to save the puppies and get a chance to order. The flippers aren’t going to waste their money on potentially nothing and you get to support the puppies or whatever charity you want. Going with puppies is always safe. Nobody has ever complained about puppies.

November it is for me!

Hopefully there’s no lame surprises awaiting me in that drop.

Also makes me feel better about recently purchasing a Boss OC-2.

I have an OC-2 that is so mint, I hate to use it. It even still has the new pedal smell. Someone must have bought it and then put it on the shelf where it hid for 40 years.

It's probably not the most popular option, but I would like a blind auction. Leave bidding open for a day and top bids win. Definite downside is lack of puppies though.

ever since apple pay was disabled, its hard to buy any. how does apple pay affect the buying market it seems even if its paypal they sell out quickly so i dont see the point of taking out apple pay if the intentions is to control the buying market anyway…ridiculous
The reason he disabled Apple Pay is because it was so much faster than every other method giving those with Apple Pay a distinct advantage over others, or so I gather. It was an issue on the recent Doom 2 sale.

Missed the first wave, but got in on the second. Surprised because I don't have the fastest internet (so it's not just institutional..... there are some old retired guys moving arthritic fingers). I was also lucky enough to get the Proton in the last run, which surprised me after missing out on the Doom (victim of not knowing about Apple Pay). I am that $525 Doom Reverb purchaser, which I bought as soon as it was listed (after Mr. 5K list guy), so I am complete, DONE, and glad to not have to deal with this anymore Good luck to all. This sh*t was terrible.

Also probably not a popular opinion right now, but better him than the scalpers.

It would put his gear even further out of reach for regular players. I kind of think he's gotten to 'lifestyle' gear level, like Teenage Engineering in the synth world. He might as well just embrace it, price things accordingly, and live his life. All he's doing right now is pissing people off and killing his brand with small cuts.

I got the Proton in the recent release. It's a really nice pedal, I put it up against my Aguilar Filter Twin last night on bass, and have to say I prefer the Proton on guitar and the Aguilar FT on bass overall. The Proton was smoother and less quacky so it definitely has its place. I'll be keeping it for sure.
