3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I used my You're Doom at a gig last night for the first time ... and wow, it sounded so good. I used it with the clean blend set at about 60% clean with the gain set a about 9:00. It produced a well defined bottom with a slightly synthy yet integrated fuzziness.

This one's a keeper – :bassist: :D

Yeah palm mute while your playing (mute and play with my thumb for the effect) and you get a great old school synth sound. Your playing dynamics also effect it a lot too, so experiment with some different techniques and see what you get.

I get a great synthy sound with the tone at 9 and the mix at 4...palm muting only makes it better!

I just got my You're Doom today and so far so good. I definitely think where this one shines is being used for synths tones - with or without a filter.

I've run it before my Proton and it sounds damn cool. First gig with it on Saturday so I'll let you know how it goes. At the moment I'm thinking Spenser makes the coolest sounding pedals!!!

Cheers

Ben

I got the You're Doom along with a Boss MO-2 and a Red Panda Particle yesterday. Couldn't find a minute to try them (way too much work) so I brought them to the friendly evening jam even though I was going to play drums. Needless to say funny sounds were made. You're Doom is definately a keeper ; also sounded really good with the (micro-pog-like) MO-2.

Got a proton today, it amazing. I prefer it over the wonderlove or gr2, having both of those at one point. Now I just have see how it works in a live setting.

Have you guys ever used an envelope filter like the proton to tame a fuzz? Sounds weird but the proton is doing that and it sounds exactly what I was after. I have the range and sweep in down position, peak at 11, the gain at 930ish, and decay at 1030, it opens and closes exactly how I want. Subtle, and it tames my tafm slightly. Very cool.

I love the proton to. Like you I got the you're doom because of it. I like the fuzz but the proton is amazing.

My wife got me a Proton for Christmas, my first 3Leaf. It is now at the top of my list of favorite pedals. I'm definitely looking forward to getting my hands on some more of Spencer's pedals!

Oh yeah, and running fuzz into the Proton is absolutely killer!

I think it's safe to say I'm a fan of 3Leaf...
