I want an Enabler...
$200 won't set you back too much on that plan...GIVE IN!!!!
My thoughts exactly.
I can respect and admire your dedication to saving for a new instrument and foregoing the You're Doom...
It, however, is an incredible pedal that does everything it advertises in top form![]()
Just to make sure, this WILL be called GOHZIRRA!!, right?
*waves hand*
Spencer, saw on Facebook that you got the pleasure of hanging with Mike Gordon. I saw him in Boulder a few days ago. Anything cool to share about his setup? I know the Gordo club would be interested, too!
He has the most complicated setup I've ever seen. His rig is a huge stack of Meyer Sound cabs that are digitally phase aligned and frequency tuned for each room. He's using in ears on this tour, so what he hears is apparently pretty different than what is heard through the rig and the PA. He was using the Doom in place of the Moog Freqbox, and he tried the Wonderlove as a possible replacement for his MXR envelope filter. He is a super nice guy too! Very into trying new and fun sounds on stage.
IIRC the Proton is based on the MuTron III, and the Wonderlove is based around the Lovetone Meatball.

I'm joining the club with a Enabler! I discovered 3Leaf too late and by the time I did the compressor was already out of production. Would have loved to try one of those!![]()
Tried my Enabler today as the front end of my upright rig: Chinese laminate bass --> Fishman Full Circle pickup--> Enabler --> SWR Stereo 800 --> Euphonic VL-208. Sounded really good both pizz and arco! EQ points worked well for taming resonant peaks and discordant frequencies. Very musical. Let the voice of the bass come through, and having all that gain really helped with the levels. Low end stayed controlled provided bass was kept at moderate settings.
UPSHOT: for an amateur upright doubler like me, the Enabler is a front-end winner.
spencer, look at this 3Leaf Design Tribute youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46y5yTdZa1k
Am I crazy or does it seem a little creepy that someone put together a video redesigning the logo and layout. From the description, I assume it's not authorized. Maybe I'm just overthinking the IP issues. I do like the Wonderlove redesign.
