To expand on that - I think people pay too much attention to specs and don't use their ears. I'd like to not even include manuals with my pedals so that players can explore them without any preconceived ideas about how they should be used.

I think I may have been the first, or definitely among the first, to ask that question...and while his answer was as straightforward as it could've been (something like..."I just used what sounds good to me") it sort of taught me a lesson

Sometimes we all get too caught up in the techno mumbo jumbo when we should just use our ears 😃

Love the idea of a different coloured Proton, it's too similar to the YD IMO and I've gotten them mixed up before on a dark stage. However I've also got my Proton next to an MXR compressor so whites not the answer for me. So I suggested a purple one (because really, what's more funky then purple?).

I'm keeping my Paypal locked and loaded, just in case the 3Leaf rusted pedal is one that I "need."

White Proton definitely looks classy, but I've got my V2 Proton on my main board already!

Yeah I am on the edge of my seat about the new pedal. I was thinking of getting a SA programmable eq, but I am holding off until I find out about the mystery pedal. I also really want a proton. .....

Me, too! I feel like I read somewhere that it's going to be an octaver pedal with octave-up capability and a dedicated footswitch though. Did I make that up?
