Good to know! I'm been stalking a YD for a long time now, and have just been waiting for the right moment to pull the trigger. I've decided to part with my small box Dark Driving and replace it with the Doom... I've never used the Driving live, and the synthy stuff that the Doom can do is something I can use. I went back to Spencer's prototype video yesterday, and the way it combos with octave and envelope still makes me drool.

If I have some time this weekend I'll try a Vitruvian Mod ringmodulator in the WL effect loop, that should produce some synthy stuff methinks.

Compare in what ways? They're pretty different pedals it seems to me.

Based on the small clip of the 3Leaf octave compared to the clips of the SubT, it seems that the 3Leaf may have better tracking. We'll have to wait for more videos of the 3Leaf before we know for sure though.

I haven't tried that combo yet, I'll give it a shot. On past experience with the subt if you put it before a filter you need to mix in dry signal (on the subt) to get the filter to trigger nicely.

I guess that's what I'm wondering about, how different are the 2? I really don't know what i'm looking for in an octave but I know I'm looking for a nice beefy synthy sound when paired with YD and a dash of proton... Maybe bit of hysteria mixed in with ilangroove's ducky clip. Maybe something that does a real clean octave down...

I'll go back to subt sound clips and compare that with the teaser sample spencer posted. Might help me understand how these beast work!

Yeah, I'm most likely going to put it in the loop because the wonderlove will be triggered by my clean signal that way.
