3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Deep switch "on", bass knob boosted to two o'clock, upper mid switch on "on" and cut to 10 o'clock, treble straight up (with broken-in strings). Big and fat, but still clear.

Lonnybass

I find this very interesting because I've been messing with one of these with my P Bass, and the settings I've settled on are identical to yours, though I think I kept the mids a little closer to 11 o'clock.

Spontaneous trip into NYC today with my brother...stopped at Rudy's to find PWNZOR #112 calling my name...

My fourth 3 Leaf Audio piece....

Here ya go !

That's looking pretty sharp.

It took too long to build and I couldn't do the etched finishes anymore. A new version isn't high on my list of priorities.

So glad I got one when I did. Only comp so far that I feel like I'm not fighting with.

If you know anyone who etches pedals, these enclosures can be dunked straight into the acid with great results.

Thanks Spencer! I wish I knew how to etch pedals, but I'll have to stick to painting for now :)

Trying my hand at etching is on my list for the very near future. The graphic artist in me sees it as a challenge and I've got a couple old shells sitting around to test on (translated: a couple pedals a guitarist for an old group left laying around in the practice spot... :D). I'm going to start tracking down materials in the next couple weeks, and then start testing. If I'm successful, I'm going to start with my B7K... already got the art in my head!

I wants!!

Me too, but for now I'm keeping myself occupied with the Zoom B3 I just got. ;) ;)

I finally got the chance to plug my PWNZOR into my board and do some knob twiddling and my first impression is SMOOOOOVE and FAT!!!! Sounds great without squashing too much of my signal...

Hope to play/experiment more and A/B it to my MXR M87...it's gonna be a knock down, drag out, fight to the finish

Nobody uses two compressors on their board, right?

;-)

Rogue, Bass EFX, Bass NW and Jet City generally get their orders very quickly due to their proximity to me. There are also shipments en route to Effects Boutique, Prymaxe and Rudy's right now and the orders to international dealers are making their way out.
