Y'know, I try not to post in here, being that I'm not a luthier and I imagine you guys like it to stay clean... but uhmmm... .. . . .

In the last few months I have given this project some time and I thought I would post some updates since there are updates to show.
First off I know this is an an ancient build that has fallen by the wayside. In the time that has passed since my last post, I had been taken away from this project with other builds (that have been posted here), life and battles with cancer. I am happy to say that I have been feeling like this needs to be finished.
Since my last post I have sanded, sanded and sanded some more. FINALLY got this to the point where I could airbrush some transtint color, (honey yellow, red and black). I was really happy with how that turned out. Also got the neck fretted and set up. I did string the bass before I shot the color to be sure I liked the way it would play... "check!" plays how I had hoped it would. Since these photos I have been applying coats of Tru Oil. I am about a week off from finishing that.
