4-string with low B?

Play a bass setup to BEAD. I did, and couldn't get used to not having a G string because I use it as a reference point plus I need those higher notes.

Try it first before you go filing your nut - you might not like it. You can always undo the new setup it will need, but once you filed the nut - you can't go back.

Keep the 5er - they're not that hard to get used to. ;)
