$400 budget - what Class D head would you buy ?

If it were up to TB we'd all be playing on Genzler, or a Mesa Head LOL!!!! Nothing wrong with them but I work on the idea there has to be more to life than those two options and gratefully I am correct. I use the Bugera as a backup mostly but it sounds damn good for the money. And for those who complain about China, I'd say a lot of components in the gear that's even made in the USA were made in China. If there was no China tomorrow a lot of folks would be surprised at what would not be available even with a made in the USA Label. We or I should say Big Business and Gov't made this so. We no longer even make some of the components needed. But of course I'll just add it's my opinion :)

All I can say is that it feels very solid, even moreso than the Rumble. But that has nothing to do with the innards. And it has some weirdness - like a giant noisy fan on the top of the case. Maybe it was a heli in another life... And the front of the case is angled, making it a little weird when packing. And the Blue LEDs on the front could burn a hole through your eyeball.
But, one likes what one likes, and I like this.
Wish I knew more about the resurrection of acoustic line, though - is it purely Chinese or what... I know one thing I especially like about the D800 is that it is USA made.

I've read that before (about the fan) and Ed Friedland has also said that he likes the amp a lot but it is noisy. I purchased the B600hd because I like that the amp comes alive by not being afraid to crank the Gain and the Drive does sound really good. On the B600HD I found that the fan is whisper quiet, or at least on mine it is. And I like the way the sloped front end looks, but it is kind of funny pulling it out of a laptop bag. And the LED's are retina searing, even more so than the Genz Benz amps, but they sure do look cool on stage. I've had mine now for over a year and have had no issues with it whatsoever, but it is not my every gig amp so I can't really talk about reliability although I do practice with it quite a bit. It does seem sturdy enough though.
