I will also say I like Microtonal music, but the instruments need to be in-tune interval wise and intonation as well as with each other.

A specific flavor of the year comes to mind when hearing their live (the one everyone geeked on - vs their recorded work (which is pretty awesome)). The live version is unlistenable to me… album version is very good…

Sorry, but you're just taking AI (google) at face value and claiming it as fact.

"Accepted in western culture" doesn't mean it's an evidence based, medically proven treatment. Many things are "accepted" in western culture with no basis beyond feelings.

If you look at the first study the google AI cites, it's basically a survey of ~30 "medical professionals" (from MD, Nurses, Physiotherapists) who are trained in Acupuncture (already confirmation bias there), asking about their feelings regarding patient outcomes of the practice. Here's a quote from the study:
"It is the only medicine that existed in China before, so everything can be treated by acupuncture. (Female, physician, 63 years.)"

All the study does is confirm that professionals who are already heavily invested in acupuncture, have a positive view of the practice and believe that it improves patient outcomes.

The fact that google's AI used this study to claim acupuncture is accepted, evidence based practice is laughable... if a first year university student used this study as a primary evidence of such claim in a paper, they should be called out immediately. But it's google, so let's all take what it says as fact with no scrutiny.

I’m trying to fathom the amount of energy and the equipment to generate 5hz in a way that could be used on a crowd let alone one person.

LRAD on the other hand in deterrent / alarm mode is 2k to 4k @ 160+ db. If I remember correctly there was an iteration that was 1k deflected at like a 30 degree angle.

The sheer amount of energy to do crowd deterrent with 5hz would be staggering. I’ve read the myth of 5hz to 9hz being the brown note, but we don’t see the resonant frequency of the earth making people shart.

I can’t find any information on this 5hz weapon. I’d love to read more if there is actual info on it.

I read about the "brown-noter" decades ago, I have absolutely no recollection of where. I am in all ways unqualified to comment on the acoustic engineering aspects of the procedure.
