4x10 or Combo? Need Quick Answer! :P

So, I called guitarcenter today and they're being lame and still havent shipped my acoustic b200 combo.

I told them to shove it and cancelled the order.

So, im heading down to the IN-store Guitar Center (about 50 miles away) Because its their super blowout weekend sale, and it'll only be $150 for a b200h head and $230 for the B410 cabinet, new.

So i'd get the b200h +B410 for $80 more than the B200 combo.


So:

B200 for $300 or B200h + B410 for $380?

I'm using these for recording, jamming (with a relatively loud group) etc. NO gigs tho.

It sounds like a good deal, bring your bass with you and try it out in the store. I'm not all that keen on Acoustic but at least this is not a combo and you can always change either the head or the cab. The head is rated at 4ohms and the cab is 8ohms so you can alway add another cab for full sound. I do this with ampeg but like I said acoustic isn't what I use but it will work.

Get the 4x10 and B200h. It's a great combo

Go the head/cab route. You can always upgrade one or the other in the future if your tastes/needs change. With the combo you're pretty much stuck with it as is.
