This is mainly it for me. There are several designs I'd like to make that aren't commercially available or are too expensive so saying a custom Alembic SII 5 and 6 string is a great fantasy, but... To do this I need to bump up my luthiery skills although I'm a decent woodworker and have a couple of friends who are even better to seek advice and help from.Luthier tools to build my own
I agree. Of my 5 there's only one I really want and the others would be fun to have though none of them I need, but I've had so many I know what I like and I already have those. I think for most this is just a bit of fun.I envy you all that ‘want’ because I will admit, there is a certain joy in chasing that I don’t have anymore.
I totally get it...In fact I’m trying to sell not keep.I agree. Of my 5 there's only one I really want and the others would be fun to have though none of them I need, but I've had so many I know what I like and I already have those. I think for most this is just a bit of fun.

So am I. I don't need 30 instruments.I totally get it...In fact I’m trying to sell not keep.
As soon as the current abode sells, then no mortgage. I already have a rural house, and it needs a short driveway, but I'll do that myself. My desires now is not having a mortgage payment or a new driveway.
