Luthier tools to build my own

This is mainly it for me. There are several designs I'd like to make that aren't commercially available or are too expensive so saying a custom Alembic SII 5 and 6 string is a great fantasy, but... To do this I need to bump up my luthiery skills although I'm a decent woodworker and have a couple of friends who are even better to seek advice and help from.

In terms of what I could actually afford, obtain and use;
1: Steinberger XT25 to string E-C. A non black version or an old Hohner would be good too.
2: Harley Benton JJO5 in natural
3: Peavey Zephyr NT5
4: Ibanez BTB1826 (2018 model), and
5: something I'm going to surprise with soon, but it's not from a boutique brand.

Edit: getting any one of these would bump one out the door. Maybe more than one. Some with the one's I want to build.

I envy you all that ‘want’ because I will admit, there is a certain joy in chasing that I don’t have anymore.

Sure, I have Jazz coming, I’m sure it will be great, but I’m view it as tool that will be used specifically in a role and that it’s it.
I mean that in a positive way not pessimistic one.

I agree. Of my 5 there's only one I really want and the others would be fun to have though none of them I need, but I've had so many I know what I like and I already have those. I think for most this is just a bit of fun.

If I can include the three I already own (my retired heavily-modded LTD HTB-600, my LTD F-205, and my 2018 LTD D-5), then the other two would be an ESP E-II BTL-5 and an ESP custom shop 5-string made to my specs.

If I have to pick 5 excluding the beloved three I own...
1) ESP custom shop 5-string made to my specs
2) ESP E-II BTL-5
3) LTD D-5 (2020 or newer version with the burl top and one that weighs less than 9 pounds)
4) LTD BB-1005 (the discontinued Bunny Brunel sig model)
5) LTD FL-600 (the discontinued Frederic Leclercq sig model)

Making them is a different thing though, a parallel hobby that might lead to other things as well with the new tools I want to buy to build some basses (not necessarily MI stuff).

As soon as the current abode sells, then no mortgage. I already have a rural house, and it needs a short driveway, but I'll do that myself.
