5 String Hollow body basses?

Those F holes just ain't right!
Even I would have tried to center them.
Makes it look like Picaso designed it lol!

well, they are where they are supposed to be: offset exactly as the whole body. Just imagine instead they placed them at same level but the rest offset! Bleah!

Actually, a set of F holes is set up to vibrate being centered between a saddle. A luthier could explain it more cogently.

...in theory yes; but frankly I don't think this is written in the stone. Maybe that is "truer" for a real acoustic instrument. But, then, take a look at these weirdos below

...I am convinced, anyway, that the "aligned-across-the-saddles" principle would not apply much to any semiacoustic-solid block axe: f-holes are just cosmetic, there!

Washburn AB45. Twenty five were made. Some are around. Then Washburn reissued. They have actual volume and tone knobs. Large deep sound. Feedback resistant due to slots instead of sound holes. Can be played loud.
