This kinda reminds me of a worship leader that told me i was wrong in saying that the key of a song was "B". He thought it should be called C-flat

To be really nit-picking, Cb is technically a different key to B (in terms of the key signature) and there could be reasons for choosing one over the other for certain instrumentation. No difference in the actual notes being played, obviously.![]()

Devil's Advocate: Did the guitarist ever play an open Low C chord? If you wanted to double it for a bonecrushing huge C, you'd have to do it an octave above what he intended. If you were actually in drop C, you could hit that low C along with him and vaporize bowel contents satisfactorily. Perhaps that's why he was perturbed.
