As always, great!!
I get a Warrior and Spector-vibe of those pictures.

I've applied 2 coats of polyurethane on the body and neck.
Sanded with 600 paper between them.
As for now it looks nice and smooth, and you can "feel" the wood.
Still don't know if I'll polish it.

It took me 7 days to build the bass + 2 days to apply lacquer and set it up.
You just can't imagine how hard I've worked for this..
The spacing is 18mm at the bridge, not so wide, but maybe it just looks wide in the pictures.

I believe the size of the body is creating an optical illusion. The body is fairly small, so it makes the spacing at the bridge look wider.

This is a crazy result after only 9 days and it makes me feel very, very, very slow @ building .. I like the lacquer and I think I want it on my bass too when it's finished. Can you tell me what product you used? (Besides the fact that it's polyurethane).

I've used it with a brush.
Put one coat after sanding the wood to 1500,
wait 24 hrs, sand with 600 paper, then apply the second one, and
you're done.
Very easy to use.

I saw this lacquer polished with Menzerna compounds, sold by StewMac, and it turned glossy, but without having the 100% mirror effect. (Because it's satin)
