According to the tech he Snipped the Treble bleed and changed a few caps around. There is a difference but it is minor. I imagine new quality tubes make about as much difference.

Wow! I didn't realize I was resurrecting the whole thread! Great amps you guys have.
I have also two 100 W guitar heads that might see their day powering my bass backline one day: A Rivera M-100 and a Marshall LM6100.

Edit: I JUST REMEMBERED, I CAN TOTALLY JOIN THIS NOW! I couldn't back when it started, as my Sunn 2000s is actually 120 watts (well, before breakup), but last September I bought a Sunn 200s to keep at college with me, and its 60 watts falls right in this threads demographic. So without ado:
And on the underside:
I bought it for somewhere around $500 shipped. Has the back cover, and the only non-original part as far as I can tell is a single screw holding the chassis in the cab. A bit grubby, but not too much damage to the tolex, front plate, or cloth. I should probably get the death cap removed and the polarity disabled at some point, though unlike my 2000s, this one has yet to shock me. Has RCA 6550s which are great and powerful, and....shoot, I want to say RCA 12ax7 and a Jan rectifier? Something like that, all old, and as far as I can tell, stock tubes. And the old names painted on the underside have totally given me the name for my next band at school: The Fire Sign Children
Oh, and what the hell, it's close enough to 100w, and I like showing it off:

re-amping some tracks....with the D12 the tracks were warm and crunchy, like apple pie.

Egnater Tweaker-40 on a Bag End D12...
2x 6L6 power section with an EQ section that can toggle through Vox, Marshall, and Fender flavors. Plenty deep for my 7, 6, and 5 string basses... plenty loud for conservative jams (anything more just needs a mic as y'all already know)

I chimed in awhile ago with a 5 watt Epi head (it does have tubes) > Markbass cab, so yours should be OK...it's a LOT closer, anyway.
It has a killer Marshall overdrive on Channel 1. Channel 2 is a lot cleaner. Either way, it's a great amp if you have enough cab to keep up with it's limited power. I actually liked the Bugera more than the Marshalls I've tried/owned. I tried 6550's in the amp and it barely got by in my three piece through my Goliath III. It's biased pretty cold no matter what tube it runs. I returned it today but that's just because it's not right for me right now.
I have been trying to find an operation manual for my Dynacord (see previous page). The speaker impedance jumpers seem quite a hazard to me, there is every chance that I hook up cabinets using wrong settings. Finally I found the schematic. And while I was at it, more googling revealed consistently that Dynacord refers to this as a 80 W mixer amplifier.
How do they get 80 W out of two EL-34s?? [EDIT: Plate voltage 750 V explains this]
Yesterday I had "an evening off" and tweaked a bit on the controls. Each of the four channels has a volume and gain as well as treble and bass settings on concentric pots. In addition there is a master control section with volume, treble, and bass.
The whole shebang sounds very hi-fi, there is a bit of mains hum going on but this should not bother me as much as the fan noise on my Ampeg Micro VR.
I think I will start a search for a proper cabinet to go with this little gem.

By running them @ 780 Volts! The EL34s back then could easily handle the high voltage. I'd be careful with EL34s out of current production, though. JJ E34L are very robust. Invalid Link Removed would be my no. 1 choice.

The only problem is that there is no mid control anywhere. I need to bring my pedal board and run the wet outs of my synth and envelope filters, maybe analog delay too, to the extra inputs. It should get pretty funky.
I went to see a 70's "Monster" cabinet. This one is more meant for vocals (back in the day) but it did have 3 12" Goodmans speakers. We disconnected the three 8" SEAS speakers in it and the cabinet came to life on guitar. It couldn't handle bass too well, so I let it pass. I switched the setup in my rehearsal space now so that the Ampeg head is only for headphone practice. The Dynacord works great through the Ampeg 2x10".

The Klemt looks delicious! Great to see one in such a fine shape. My Dynacord is also in very good condition, comparing to some others I have seen and heard...
I couldn't remember if you did or not. How is it, btw...worth the money? I've been mildly curious about it for awhile now.
Just bought a Little Bastard! Thinking if pairing with a couple of Ampeg 210AVs and sometimes just one. Anyone have this combo?
