One friendly dude I met in a forum made me this device: Two controls, frequency and volume, in and out, on-led and an on/off toggle switch. That's all.
A 12dB/Okt LPF with the frequency going from 2kHz up to 15kHz. The volume allows a maximum of 2dB boost. Nothing more is to be needed.
This thing is completely transparent und adds no unwanted artefacts. Probably exactly what you need. It's not rocket science and does not have to be 100 british pounds.
It's the white pedal above the empress Compressor.
