Lol it's hard .
Because most of the woods look good .
But I voted hard redwood because the feel of the food ,the color and the structer of the lines in it make it looks specially .
In other hand highly figured cocobolo ,has a natrual feel in it .
If I were you I would chose the wood that match the nature I live in .
That make a good harmony of nature and for sure have a signature in it .

I voted for the redwood. It reminds me of Bill Dickens' old Peavey Cirrus with it's gorgeous redwood top.

That said, amboynia is gorgeous - this was the 'amboyna burl' on my old ACG Harlot.

To complicate matters, check out this redwood top on my brother's Adamovic...

I ended up changing my vote after seeing finished instruments. Seems to me the Afzaila has some of the 3D effect and some of the bi-color effect going on so that gets my vote. The piece of Redwood is splendid, but wouldn't be as breathtaking in a finished bass imo. I'd pick Cocobolo as a (not too distant) 2nd.
