6 string bass bridges-any experience with Kahler???

I just know I won’t choose a 5 or more with over 16mm spacing. I wish a 4 had that spacing, a standard 4 is so wide I struggle with it but I can do it.

I’m thinking about using that bridge for a 30” baritone / bass vi project.

Did you go ahead with this project? Reason I'm asking is I'm interested in a similar project (and maybe a 34" a la Ibanez GVB36). Also do you know if it will handle small ball ends OK?

I ended up going with Babicz solo rail guitar bridges. No, the Kahler bridge, sadly, isn't built for guitar or bass VI strings, though I suppose you could make it work with home-made adapters.

Also, what string sizes are you running with these? I want to go up to a 100 or 105 set.
