Thanks! I'm going to take a new family pic in the next week or so - there's actually another LEJ 6 that's come home, too!

So for 6'ers, that makes two LEJs, my Yamaha TRBJP and the STR. Life is great!

Do any of you guys have experience with the Ibanez GSR 206?
I have been playing one the last few days at my favorite shop, and I can't get over how much I like it! The neck is extremely flat and thin, making it super comfortable. The spacing is tight (16.5mm, I think,) but I have not trouble slapping it at all.

The thing that truly shocks me, though, is the tone. Although the pickups come in soapbar shells, they must be single coils. The bass sounds totally like an active Fender Jazz! I A/B'ed with my Foundation with Super Ferrites, and the Ibanez got a better Jazz slap tone! I never would have guessed that in a million years. The only problem is some fret sprout, but the shop owner says he will clean that up for no charge if I buy it.

many thanks for the kind words on my Pavel.
Bought this bass new from the only european Pavel dealer in Holland and this is the ONLY Pavel bass yet in Germany.
Here are the specs:
Buckeye burl top
Walnut body
Ebony fingerboard
Maple neck
Nordstrand big split pu
Bartolini preamp
I never played a 6 string before, was only playing 4strings and 8string basses. Although I have short fingers this Pavel is so easy and comfortable to play. The sound is really awesome and really a F....a killer. I payed around 6K for that beast.
