Very nice bass, indeed! I had a 4 string thumb BO (pic below) and it was growling like a mad dog , very aggressive slap tone!

they are. the previous owner filled them with wood putty and i dyed the board black again to mask the gray lines. tried to get as close to unlined fretless as i could.

Awesome BTB! Is that the original finish, or did you have it re-done? I had the neck-through and found the finish to be pretty light, but this one looks great!

I have seen allot of those really light ones, but somehow i just got really lucky with mine. I ordered it kind of on a whim to a local shop, when they got it in i got the call, none of them had even seen it yet. We opened the case and were pretty blown away, I knew i had to have it. It has a real amber quality to the maple wings.


Short answer: No ReFin, all original.
