It has loads of bridge pickup honk. :)
And it is gorgeous yes. But alas the finish has, I don't know what it's called, lots of tiny cracks around the bottom edge. :( But it doesn't matter. It still sounds and plays fantastic!
Also the piezo pickup sounds great too! But, for the gospel gig most if not all sound comes from the V-Bass which also sounds excellent.

Wow, that does sound amazing! I really have got to get a bass with a piezo pickup in it one day! :D

Yes, indeed. It is my understanding that bass is one of the Myung prototypes from the Yamaha custom shop.

It has an onboard Yamaha NE-1 preamp and B1-D MIDI pickup and controls. One vol for MIDI with program up/down switchs, standard vol and blend, NE-1 preamp and bass/MIDI+bass/MIDI only switch. I use it with an Axon MIDI convertor.
