6 String Bass Method?

Hey guys, I've made the switch to a 6 string bass and I'm wondering if there is a bass method book targeted directly to the 6 string bass.

Filled with 6 string specific ideas maybe technique and just discussion about how you would, overall, use the instrument in a different way than the conventional 4 string.

Sure all the "patterns" apply to the 6 string, but I want to know theory (not just music theory) and stuff that were developed for 6 string?

I'm not sure if I'm asking it right :(.

Basically... Is there a 6 string bass method someone can recommend? I'm really interested in seeing what one would offer.

Quick search on Amazon turned up these:
Amazon.com: 6 string bass: Books

You may want to get in touch with Todd Johnson (he has a forum here on TB), if I remember right he has a book regarding chords on the bass, and he is a six string player. Not sure if that book is geared towards 6 string players though.

Thanks dude :) I appreciate it! Now that you mention it... I should try that!

Cool?? Cool....

Just wanted to mention that, while I don't have Mr. Johnson's book on chords (yet :), chord voicings simply aren't my current focus), I do own both his Walking Bass Line Module books, and have downloaded a few of his online "Playin' Through the Realbook" lessons. All are excellent resources, very well thought out, and comprehensive.
I'm fortunate in that my teacher is primarily a 6 string player himself, and has his own system of concepts for efficient fingering. But judging by Mr. Johnson's teaching materials I'm sure he's got a very well thought out approach. If I didn't have such a great local teaching resource, I'd be taking of advantage of Todd Johnson instead.
Books are great, but nothing beats a knowledgable teacher.
