It's a Buzz fretless with the lined ebony fingerboard. I have one almost just like it, but with a natural finish rather than opaque.

Playing a bass requires ridiculously precise coordination - timing especially between your fretting and plucking hands. Doing that with two people? Ain't gonna really work well.
